Canny Campers is the go-to name for wedding transport with real character, offering top-notch VW Campervan rides that’ll set your North East wedding apart – stylish, timeless, and built for those who want to make an entrance!

Welcome to the Vintage VW Camper Van Wedding Hire business, where we bring a bit of the past back into the present, and make your day one to remember. We’re all about that old-school vibe – the kind that takes you back to when things were simpler, cooler. Our classic Volkswagen camper vans, all restored and properly looked after, aren’t just vehicles – they’re the kind of ride that turns heads and takes you on a journey of your own. No gimmicks, no fads, just pure style. So, if you want your wedding to stand out, you know where to come.

If the 60s is your vibe, then we have you covered with our 1963 Splitscreen Campervan ‘Little Joe’. This isn’t just any van, it’s got a handbuilt oak interior, proper quality fixtures, fittings and upholstery. Little Joe adds a genuine ‘wow factor’ and is perfect for the couple that wants to make a statement, not just get from A to B.

If you’re all about that ‘70s scene, love BoHo and still want a white vehicle then you’ve found your ride – Jules, our ’72 Bay Window, fully loaded with that BoHo style interior. We’re talking premium fabrics and craftsmanship, all done to make sure it’s not just a campervan, but a statement of style and is spacious enough for five in comfort. This isn’t just a vehicle it’s an experience.
